M & W MILLING & REFINING, INC.

FROM THE ASSAY TO THE DORE

M&W Milling & Refining, Inc. is a full service ore processing facility incorporating custom milling, smelting, refining, ore testing, and analytical capability under one roof. We specialize in the testing and processing of precious and base metal ores to insure maximum recovery in our mill, or flowsheet design to assist in building your own. Our staff is fully qualified to evaluate the potential of your ore deposit from exploration to full production, and offer expert advice at every stage. Our goal is to maximize your profits.

ANALYTICAL: M&W operates a complete analytical facility including fire assay/ noble metals analysis, atomic absorption and spectrographic capability, and wet chemical analysis to accurately assess the valuable minerals in your ore. Our geologists and mining engineers are available to conduct mapping and sampling at your minesite, and prepare detailed reports to outline its economic potential.

BENCH-SCALE TESTING: M&W is equipped to test your ore by various processes including gravity, flotation, and leaching by standard techniques as well as non-cyanide methods, and evaluate recovery schemes proposed to the client by other metallurgists. Don’t be fooled by charlatans offering "magical" recovery methods. Our metallurgists have the background and years of experience to accurately evaluate the feasibility of any flowsheet. We do not endorse or "peddle" anyone’s process. Our goal is to provide the client with accurate recovery data that can be duplicated in the real world, and by other reputable laboratories. We do not analyze samples for noble metals using ICP.

PILOT-SCALE TESTING: M&W can provide small-scale production testing from 100 lb. Lots up to 500 lbs. / hour ball mill grinding followed by gravity, flotation, or leach recovery. This type of testing allows the processing of a sample sufficient in size to minimize the possibility of "salted" samples, and provides a more accurate assessment of ore grade, to avoid basing a flowsheet on non-representative or "high-graded" samples submitted for bench-scale testing, thus insuring that the mill will handle your ore in the real world.

PRODUCTION-SCALE MILLING: M&W operates a custom mill capable of processing 6-10 tons per hour of your ore (144-250 tpd). Our crushing circuit can produce 30-50 tons per hour of mill feed. The mill circuit incorporates two-stage grinding using a rod mill and ball mill in closed circuit with a gravity circuit comprised of Reichert spirals and a Deister table, as well as a small Gemeni clean-up table. This is followed by a flotation circuit comprised of a bank of 6 Denver DR No. 21 rougher cells, and a bank of Denver Sub-A cleaners. Concentrates can be returned to the client, or processed by cyanide leach / Merrill-Crowe recovery and/or smelting, depending upon the composition and grade of the concentrates.

PROCESSING OF CONCENTRATES: The cyanide leach circuit at M&W is designed to process batches of concentrates or high-grade ore. The circuit is comprised of two leach tanks having a capacity of 5 tons each, a thickener, solution storage tanks, and a Merrill-Crowe zinc precipitation plant. Flotation concentrates amenable to cyanide can typically be processed at the rate of 5 tons in 48 hours. The zinc precipitates are then smelted into dore bars.

The M&W mill is fully permitted for the impoundment of tailings from our processes, and we work closely with Federal and State agencies to assure that we are in compliance with all environmental regulations.

REMEDIATION: M&W has been successfully involved in a number of reclamation and remediation projects involving major corporations. We are available to contract or assist in clean-up of contaminated sites using a variety of technologies. M&W is involved with a spin-off company, Ion Resolutions, which has recently patented a new process for the clean-up of mine waste water involving a revolutionary technology for removing contaminants.
